Aiko Solar is the world’s first mass-produced full back contact (ABC) cell with a grid-free front design and a mass production efficiency of 26.5% (2023 data), which is more than 15% higher than TOPCon/PERC. In March 2024, it was announced that the ABC cell efficiency exceeded 27.2%, setting a world record. Zero light-induced degradation (LID) problem. The temperature coefficient is as low as -0.24%/℃ (PERC is -0.34%). The bifaciality rate is <5% (focusing on single-sided high-power scenarios). The installed capacity of a single household is reduced by 20% and still meets the electricity demand, with a premium of 0.05 euros/W.
